Lo dicho, 'Sinners' va ganando puntos como la gran oponente de 'Una Batalla Tras Otra'. Rose Byrne cada vez suma más papeletas para actriz (lo que me alegraría muchísimo, pues estoy enamorado de esa mujer), y me chana mucho lo del premio a la mejor interpretación animal (la verdad es que Indy actúa mejor que todo el reparto de Gladiator 2 junto).
Mención especial al documental español 'Tardes de Soledad', que parece que ha tenido mayor repercusión en el circuito de premios que la que tuvo en nuestro país, a pesar del intento de crear una polémica artificial.

Dos para Ryan Coogler como director. ¿Tendrán huevos en los Oscar de negarle a PTA su muy postergado y merecido galardón a mejor director?

Averigua pero no lo acabo de ver ni por asomo, igual película aunque ahí apostaría algo más por Hamnet. Mucho "black power" -y desde luego en redes su presión están metiendo, mucho victimismo ¿otra vez un director negro ninguneado? ni que se le fuera a quitar un mierdecilla blanco que pasaba por ahí- tendría que haber en la Academia fuera de USA porque no nos olvidemos que Sinners fue un fenómeno espectacular sobre todo es el país de las barras y estrellas mientras que la de Anderson, eso sí con mucha menos taquilla, funcionó mucho mejor en todo el mundo y aunque no sea un experto eso creo que se nota en los Oscars. Lo que si me da a mí es que Del Toro y Penn se van a quitar votos entre ellos (parece claro que los van a nominar a ambos) y el secundario se lo lleva el veterano sueco.

Aunque solo quedarán cinco nominadas ya se han anunciado algunas listas de finalistas, básicamente apartados técnicos, película extranjera, documentales y cortometrajes y lo más destacable concierne a España y es que Sirat ha entrado en nada menos que en 5 de esas listas: película extranjera, fotografía, casting, música original y sonido. Un pelotazo, al final tendré que verla y todo. Lástima que Tardes de Soledad no entrara en documental.

Algunos apuntes basados en lo que he leído en páginas de frikis de los Oscars: 

-muy contentos los fans de Wicked y muy tristes los de la diosa Amanda Seyfried por el cero patatero de "El testamento de Ann Lee", yo esta película ni sabía que existía y por lo que se ve la Academia tampoco. 

- @rafaelgg de Netflix parece que le van a dar bola a Frankestein y Tren de Sueños, por ahora ni aparece la de Craig, la de Clooney y Sandler tampoco. Sí se está destacando la irrupción de Nuremberg 

-el ninguneo a Marvel, tampoco me extraña porque ya se pasan de mediocres

-en maquillaje,  cierto pitorreo y desconcierto por la lista así en general y mas en concreto por la inclusión de "Una batalla tras otra" por una sola escena por no decir que un solo plano, de "Marty Supreme" por ponerle cuatro granos mal contados al careto de Chalamet y "The Alto Knights" con un muñeco que se parece a Robert de Niro. Y entró una que reseñó @manuwar y por la que tengo curiosidad "La hermanastra fea"

Parece casi seguro que tendremos una nominación por primera vez en 21 años, desde la nominación y Oscar de 'Mar Adentro' en 2004. Llevárselo ya tal, pues se competiría contra gigantes como 'Un Simple Accidente' o 'Valor Sentimental', que son las que se están peleando en la carrera.

En cuanto al documental 'Tardes de Soledad', se ha colado en algunos premios, pero para los Oscar estaba difícil. No veo al Hollywood progre, del que forman gran parte de los académicos, demasiado apasionados con el tema de los toros.

De las 'shortlist', me ha llamado la atención la de efectos visuales, una de mis favoritas. ¿Como pueden considerar siquiera a una película con unos efectos tan MALOS como los de 'Superman'? Espero que no pase la criba.
También me hace gracia que a las de Marvel ya no las consideran ni para eso.

  Pues por cosas como los que ninguno de los que siempre están  gritando desde la primeras imágenes filtradas  ¡El CGI canta! Con este tipo de producciones se quejaron de la peluca CGI en las escenas de vuelo del personaje (Corenswet llevaba un gorro de baño y luego en postproducción le añadieron el pelo moviéndose al viento) a pesar de que presumen de tener una vista de lo más aguda para detectar el CGi. Y supongo que no será el único CGI "invisible" 

  Por supuesto de haberse filtrado que ese CGI existía todos esos hubieran gritado a los 4 vientos que cabra la Traviatta. La realidad es que mucha de las críticas a los CGI de películas y series se basan en que el que crítica sabe de antemano de que ahí hay un efecto por ordenador y desea decir que se nota más que en el hecho de que realmente cante.

De todos modos da igual, si ese Óscar se lo va a llevar James Cameron.

¿Te refieres a ganarlo? Porque nominación... "La sociedad de la nieve" estuvo, ¿No? Y una con Antonio Banderas, esta de "dolor y gloria" o "dolor y muerte" o "dolor y papas", no me acuerdo pero era una de "dolor". También, creo.

Ambas posteriores al drama de Amenábar.

Benicio Del Toro y Amy Madigan van lanzadísimos para las actuaciones secundarias, pero en la categoría principal, sobre todo la masculina, la cosa está reñidísima. Chalamet, Di Caprio, Michael B. Jordan, Ethan Hawke.......de momento están yendo empatadísimos.

La noche de los premios más famosos del cine, la gala de los Oscar, ha sufrido un cambio radical con la adquisición de los derechos de retransmisión por parte de YouTube que se hará efectiva a partir de 2029. Así lo ha comunicado la propia academia este miércoles, que pasa de la cadena de televisión estadounidense ABC al ‘streaming’ digital

️ Este es uno de los cambios más grandes de la historia de la gala de premios, que se estrenará de forma exclusiva en el mundo digital con su edición número 101, que continuará hasta el 2033, poniendo fin a un contrato entre la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas y la cadena ABC vigente desde 1976

? El evento se podrá seguir de forma gratuita en YouTube, la plataforma de Google dedicada a vídeos y emisiones en directo, que dará la bienvenida dentro de cuatro años a una velada que el año pasado reunió a casi 20 millones de espectadores solo en EE.UU.

Pero bueno, está guay. Desde que dejaron de emitirla por La2, solo he visto una ceremonia, porque en esa época contraté Movistar para ver la temporada final de 'Juego de Tronos', y fue la ceremonia más mierdosa, la de la pandemia. Que no fue ni ceremonia ni ná, era como los Globos de Oro pero en cutrísimo.

Así que siempre la escucho por la radio, en Onda Cero siempre hacen buenas retransmisiones, no como los ineptos de la SER.

Pero bueno, en 2029, pues hala......ahí estaremos. Supongo.

Tan solo decir que por fin he visto 'Una Batalla Tras Otra', y entiendo todos los premios y la arrasada que está pegando en la carrera. Menos por Benicio Del Toro. Si a mejor secundario se lo estuviese llevando Sean Penn, aún lo entendería. ¿Pero Del Toro? Si sale siete minutos en la película y tan solo pone cara de porrero.

Tan solo decir que por fin he visto 'Una Batalla Tras Otra', y entiendo todos los premios y la arrasada que está pegando en la carrera. Menos por Benicio Del Toro. Yo también estoy algo sorprendido (aunque en las redes la gente está muy a tope con el sensei de del toro, se ve que se ha convertido en una especie de icono con momentos emblemáticos, lo de las cervecitas y tal) y me da la impresión de que hay algo de narrativa en plan "es el personaje que mola, el humanista"  y que al parecer del toro medio se inventó el personaje y toda la historia de , aunque sinceramente la algo así como media hora de su parte lo que es un prodigio de montaje  y música sin el que igual su personaje no hubiera lucido tanto, le unes que Sean Penn es un tronado con dos oscars y difícil de verder en campaña de Oscars y que su personaje (otra vez la narrativa por desgracia) es un fascista pero con un componente trágico y me consta que también hubo algo de polémica con eso algo así como que.... me tiene que dar lástima un cabrón como este? el mismo dicaprio en una entrevista que por momentos te dan ganas de unirte al "equipo Lockgaw (Sean Penn)" de la pena que da y esto que debería ser lo más normal, darle cierta humanidad a un malvado aunque sea una caricatura como es el caso de Sean Penn, no creo que ni esté bien visto ni que se acabe de entender. Conclusión, mejor darle el oscar a un personaje con carisma molón y que conste que creo que del toro está estupendo pero coñó, es que sale muy pocooooooooooooooooooo e insisto, esa parte de la peli (la de la ciudad de mugrientos) que es un prodigio de narrativa a los que le deberían asegurar el Oscar en todo caso es a los responsables de dirección, edición y música.

No sería la primera vez que alguien se lleva un Oscar por tener un personaje "simpático", aunque su actuación sea de lo más corriente, a la vez que se lo niegan a alguien por interpretar a un personaje execrable (como a Ralph Fiennes por la Lista de Schindler, que fue una robada monumental).
