Pues por increíble que suene, claro que te leo, además es de las cosas que más me chiflan, ver qué pasa con los premios camino al devaluado, idiota, mafioso, ridículo y moribundo Oscar.

De hecho con ninguna otra intención que ayudarte, dejo aquí las "shortlists" de las categorías que lo requieren: es decir, para ciertas categorías la Academia, reduce a unos cuantos finalistas de los cuales saldrán los nominados el mes próximo, hay algunas sorpresas, la mayoría desagradables.

La música en el cine, una de mis grandes alegrías en la vida, veo como ahora casi nunca se apegan a mis gustos. Si yo votara, dejaba a "Cónclave" y "Horizon"... Me llama la atención el caso de Gladiador II cuya música es funcional pero menos memorable que mis compañeros de secundaria, lo poco recordable es cuando se utiliza la melodía principal de la película primigenia a cargo de Hans Zimmer mismo que no está en la lista de los nominables por "Dune II".

A mí no me agrada Zimmer, pero eso que le hicieron son porquerías.

Es cierto, al premio de mejor película extranjera ha quedado excluida España, lo leí hoy por ahí.....aunque lo cierto es que no tengo ni la menor idea de cual era la película que mandábamos.

Lo de la exclusión del documental de Christopher Reeve es bastante sorprendente, sobre todo cuando es la única que le está tosiendo a 'No Other Land' en la carrera de premios. Os dije que la academia no se iba a poder resistir a premiarla, como a buen seguro pasará.

Mejores efectos para 'Wicked'.....se ve que a Nevada aún no ha llegado la bombilla y son muy impresionables. Creo que voy a empezar a cribar y a poner las asociaciones de críticos de las ciudades más importantes en vez de apostar por el completismo.

Pocas sorpresas en película; en los oscars va a estar entre esta o 'Anora'. 'Emilia Perez' no porque se lo llevará solo a mejor película extranjera.

Lo único que se ha salido del guión ha sido el premio a mejor actriz drama, que no sé quién es ella ni la película, y en comedia me alegro mucho por Demi Moore, aunque no creo que tenga opciones al Óscar.

El premio a 'Conclave' a guión tampoco me lo esperaba.
Kieran Culkin es el premio más fijo, y Reznor y Ross yo creo que van a por su tercera estatuilla.

En animación, la verdad es que 'Flow' se lo está llevando casi todo, pero dudo mucho que los de la academia se decanten por una pequeña película letona antes que por el producto autóctono, concretamente 'The Wild Robot'.

Y en tele, menuda barrida de 'Shogun', madre mía O_o

Emilia Pérez es SIDA ideológico y una puta mierda de musical aberrante en todos los sentidos. Por mucho que Pérez-Reverte y otros muchos del mundo de la kurtura la estén poniendo por las nubes.

Balance de los premios de los sindicatos.

Los gremios siempre son el mejor baremo para prever qué es lo que acabará ocurriendo en los Oscar. Ganar en el sindicato de productores y en el de los directores suele ser sinónimo de éxito en los premios de la Academia (eso fue lo que ocurrió recientemente con 'Nomadland', 'Todo a la vez en todas partes' u 'Oppenheimer'). Sin embargo, esa regla también tiene excepciones: 'La La Land' ó '1917' perdieron la estatuilla a la mejor película después de haber ganado PGA y DGA. Otro premio que en muchas ocasiones ha sido clave en la carrera es el SAG al mejor reparto: más de la mitad de las películas que ganaron ese premio acabaron haciéndose con el Oscar.

En la anterior temporada, 'Oppenheimer' fue la gran dominadora de los premios de los sindicatos, logrando candidaturas en todas las asociaciones y siendo premiada hasta en diez de ellas. Así están repartiendo los gremios sus candidaturas en la carrera por los Oscar 2024/2025...

Lo dicho, una payasada. Ni Joker 2 es una película tan horrible como para estar entre lo peor del año, ni tiene malas actuaciones de Joaquin Phoenix y Lady Gaga.

Por otra parte, también tiene un montón de nominaciones 'Borderlands', que será una chapuza, pero al menos es una chapuza divertida, al contrario que el rollazo de 'Gladiator 2', el verdadero bodrio del año y que no tiene ninguna nominación.

Los ganadores se anunciarán el 1 de Marzo.
